Find Generator Symbols and Rune Chambers
For the G-46C generator-symbol puzzle, choose 5-1 The TRC. The Xenobotany Battery Bulb belongs to 5-4 Overgrown, while the rune chambers are at 7-4 Farpoint Outpost. These destinations help distinguish the plant-growing section from the later rune puzzles when you remember the challenge but not its menu label.
Protect Your Collectible Progress Before Replaying
Continuing an existing Journey preserves its collected Octodoc progress. Starting a new Journey resets that Journey's plushie collection, so choosing an unlocked checkpoint is not a way to carry the collection into a fresh Journey. Decide whether you are continuing collectible cleanup or starting a targeted puzzle replay before following the menu procedure below.
We Were Here Tomorrow remains co-op only, and both players need a working PC-compatible microphone and an internet connection. Each Explorer has a distinct role and their own tool, so agree on which perspective you want to revisit. Have the host check the previously unlocked checkpoint options before settling on your return point.
Start a Targeted Replay or Recover From a Softlock
- Open the main menu to begin changing the Journey.
- Select Change to reach the Journey options.
- Choose Start New Journey to set up the replay, remembering that a new Journey resets its plushie collection.
- Have the host select a previously unlocked checkpoint to set the replay's starting point.
For Octodoc cleanup, continue the existing Journey whose collection you want to finish. Reserve the new-Journey procedure for a replay or recovery where you accept the collection reset. Before choosing the destination, compare its full checkpoint label with the table so you return to the intended puzzle.
Revisit the Other Ending
After finishing an ending, use chapter selection to return to 7-5 The Fate of Two Worlds and attempt the other choice. This lets you revisit the final stage without replaying the entire laboratory route. The final consoles offer Close Rift and Stabilize Rift, so agree with your partner on the remaining outcome before committing to the final interaction.
Handle Loading Problems and Changed Clues
If you reach the intended puzzle but its symbols differ from a remembered attempt, read the current display. The opening symbol console and the Particle Accelerator can replace their symbols after a rejected input. Describe the new clues to your partner before entering another sequence, rather than repeating the answer from the failed attempt.
